Harvesting a bumpper crop of purple kings today, following on from the butter beans.
We are also absolutely smothered with cherries, at the moment as well. It has been a wonderfull harvest this year, despite weather conditions.
We are now busy producing a sweet cherry vinegar dressing, for summer salads, as well as developing a cherry & mustard sauce, to accompany our duckling comfit.
All our main courses are accompanied by complimentary fresh local vegetables, most of which grown on site.
We endeavour to grow most of our own produce, however, we do have extreamly high competition from the native “beasties,” possum, wallaby & pademelons.
